Highlights of the installation :

  • 50% reduction in tonnage sent to landfill.
  • Production of SRF from residual household waste.
  • Maximum recovery of household waste:
    • Energy: 46.4% minimum,
    • Material: 49.4% minimum
  • Production of different qualities of SRF:
    • Low NCV (≈ 12,000 kJ/kg) for industrial boilers or Energy Recovery Units (ERUs),
    • High PCI (≥20,000 kJ/kg) for cement industry.
  • Bio-drying of the fermentable fraction of final residues to reduce their proportion in storage.
