Aktid Smart Solutions®
A pioneering approach
Aktid is laying the foundations for an integrated self-piloting system that will enable sorting centres to make a technological leap towards Industry 5.0.
As of 2018, Aktid has initiated a pioneering Research & Development plan, focusing on the self-piloting of sorting centres. This approach gave birth to the Aktid Smart Solutions® product range, which meets the strategic and operational needs of operators.
After a pilot site test phase, the first solutions – ABI®, Smart Regulation®, Smart Packing® – have proven their effectiveness and have been rolled out on a larger scale on both new and existing sites.
The success and confirmed interest have led to the gradual development of new solutions incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and automation.

Performance is part of a dynamic of constant improvement. Aktid is gradually developing new features, consolidating an integrated self-piloting system. This work is being carried out by a team specialising in advanced automation and data science, working closely with experts in industrial artificial intelligence.
