Features of the installation:

  • Process completely rebuilt within a space constrained by the existing building, with the addition of an extension.
  • Continuous operation of the former sorting center within the existing facilities during part of the assembly phase.
  • Energy recovery from compressors used to heat the sorting cabin — this system can reduce the plant’s total electricity consumption by up to 3%.
  • Storage of incoming waste in a pit, with process feeding handled by two automated grapples.
  • Performance: Availability rate: 95%
